About Shizuoka Digital Twin Association
The Shizuoka Digital Twin Association was established to contribute to the development of digital technology and the resolution of regional issues in Shizuoka Prefecture.
While the utilization of digital twin technology is progressing in various fields such as urban planning, disaster prevention, education, tourism, and infrastructure management, there is a challenge that know-how and practical examples are dispersed regionally and not fully utilized.
This association aims to become a hub for digital twin utilization in Shizuoka Prefecture by coordinating diverse entities such as government, companies, educational institutions, and citizens.

Main Activities
Human Resource Development
Forming a learning community 'Shizuoka Point Cloud Circle' where beginners to experts can participate.
Providing opportunities to acquire practical skills, from scanning experiences using familiar devices like iPhones to professional-level data processing.

Social Implementation of Digital Twins
Conducting demonstrations and proposals of digital twin technology for regional issues, such as disaster simulation, digital archiving of cultural assets, and tourism PR.

Promotion of Industry-Academia-Government Collaboration
Building a network of engineers, researchers, government officials, and corporate representatives to promote technical exchange and business matching.
